‘Teen Mom’ Stars Fire Back At Kim Kardashian

Yesterday I told you about how Kim Kardashian blogged about her concerns about teenage pregnancy and how reality TV shows like ‘Teen Mom’ seemed to be encouraging teenagers to have kids. Well, two of the teenagers on the MTV show ‘Teen Mom’ fired back (of course ).
Here’s what Amber Portwood of ‘Teen Mom’ told E! News:

“There’s actually a study that shows since the original 16 and Pregnant aired, the number of teen pregnancies have gone down,” Portwood exclusively tells E! News.
“Last time I checked, Kim Kardashian had a sex tape floating around on the internet and I’m pretty sure she made a lot of money off of it. She made a sex tape when she was younger and she wants to bash the girls on Teen Mom?
“If you read the articles about the show, they do nothing but talk about how the show reveals how hard it is for all of us. It doesn’t glamorize anything! It shows the heartache we’ve all gone through.
“We may be ‘celebrities’ because our face is out there, but it’s only because we’ve done some bad things. That’s not glamorous.”

Jenelle Evans of ‘Teen Mom 2′ was a little more blunt:

“I want to say, s–t happens,” Jenelle says.

What do you think about Amber and Jenelle’s responses? I haven’t seen either of the ‘Teen Mom’ shows, so I don’t know how teenage motherhood is portrayed.

Kourtney and Kim Kardashian arrived at the ABC studios today for an appearance on Live! With Regis and Kelly to promote their new reality show. They look great, but Kim looks like she’s headed to a nightclub and Kourtney looks like she’s preparing for a business lunch!  Is it just me!?

Michael Douglas was also spotted out walking daughter Carys to school. It’s so nice to see him looking so good and healthy! Douglas just revealed that he is cancer free, and Carys looks to be very happy about that! I wonder how she’s feeling about that hat her dad is wearing though?:-o

Kim Kardashian Speaks Out On Teenage Pregnancy

After reading a story about a Tennessee high school where 90 students were either pregnant or had given birth in the past year, Kim Kardashian felt the need to share her thoughts on her blog.

It seems that shows like Teen Mom are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls. The kids from these shows are all over the news, even on the covers of magazines, and have been become almost like celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize! When I think back to when I was 16, there is no way I would even have considered having a baby. That thought wouldn’t even have entered my head. Having a baby is one one of the biggest, and most life-changing decisions a person can make and while I’m not saying that no teen is in the position to raise a child, having a baby so young shouldn’t be seen as the trendy thing to do.

Kim advised her readers to “think very carefully” and “talk to your family, friends, teachers, and most of all, be careful.”

JWoww roughed up Sammi on this week's Jersey Shore.

But lest you think she was done throwing down for the week, she had some words for Kim Kardashian as well. Specifically Kim's newer, fuller lips.

The MTV celebrity has no tolerance for stars who won't "man up" to having work done, writing "Funny how stars don't man up to plastic surgery."

"I did. Blaming it on colds, etc. is just hysterical. Get real!"

Amusingly, Heidi Montag, who famously underwent 10 plastic surgeries in one day, re-tweeted this comment. Kim says she's never tried to hide anything.

"I'm the first one to talk about anything that I do," she told Extra. "It really pisses me off that all of these plastic surgery rumors are always linked to me."


"I have the flu," Kim Kardashian explained of her plumper pout. "I'm puffy and swollen, and I have no make-up on. Why would I just do my bottom lip?"

Kim? Upset about rumors involving her? We doubt it. Still, JWoww has a point. Just because Kim's 2sexy2tweet doesn't mean she has to lie about it.

Teases "Provocative" Super Bowl Ad

Due to her affinity for professional athletes, it should come as no surprise that Kim Kardashian would be involved in the most widely-watched sports day of the year:

The giant-breasted red carpet poser will appear in an ad for Skechers ShapeUps at some point during the big game. She teased it as "provocative" this week, telling USA Today of the spot: "I break someone's heart - again."

In other Super Bowl commercial news: Faith Hill will star in an ad for Teleflora, while Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels will both grace the screen as Go Daddy spokeswomen.

At some point on February 6, a football game might even be played.

Kim Kardashian posted on her blog this morning announcing that the new Kardashian Kollection will be available to the masses at Sears’s stores in August.

I’m so excited to announce that our Kardashian Kollection will launch exclusively at Sears in August!!!
We’ve always shopped at Sears, so we thought it was the perfect outlet for the Kardashian Kollection. You guys are going to love it! The collection includes everything from lingerie, clothing, handbags, accessories and shoes and Khloe, Kourt and I each put our own personal style into the pieces so there’s a lot of variety and something for everyone!! You’ll be hearing a lot more from me about the collection this year, so stay tuned!

I think it’s great that they will be making their line available at Sears – but I really don’t think that they’ve always shopped there! I mean you rarely see those girls in anything that isn’t designer, so I have a hard time believing that the girls do much shopping at Sears!

Kredit Kard Katastrophe: Kardashians Sued for $75 Million

The Kardashians have kause for koncern.

Five weeks after they took their debit card off the market because it was associated with dangerously high fees, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney, Khloe and Kris have been sued by The Revenue Resource Group, LLC. For $75 million.

The company claims these sisters breached their contract when they pulled out of the aforementioned deal. It's the biggest pulling out scandal Kim Kardashian has been involved in since November 2007.

Following an announcement by the Attorney General of Connecticut, who said he'd consider an investigation into the MasterCard-approved debit card, the siblings dropped out of their deal.

But Revenue Resource Group says they signed a two-year contract and their public bashing of the product has affected the company's bottom line. RRG is seeking $75 million in damages.

Perhaps this will teach the family a lesson about attaching their name to any product that comes calling. But, somehow, we doubt it will. (THG)

Nicole Richie was spotted leaving the gym in Studio City this morning. I didn’t realize she was even in her workout gear until I looked at the full length shots! LOL! She looks so dressed up and then you see the exercise leggings and tennis shoes – too funny.

Kim Kardashian was spotted heading into a business meeting at a studio in Culver City. Pretty sure this is about the most casual we have EVER seen this girl dressed. And by casual, of course I mean topped off with an Hermes bag. What? That isn’t how you do casual?

Following the meeting, Kim tweeted,

OMG u guys have no idea what I’m doing today! You are gonna DIE.

And then shortly after wrote,

OMGGGG I’m nervous!!!!!!

I have to admit — I’m curious! What could possibly be more exciting than Mason saying Kim for the first time?!

Anyone have a guess as to this new and mysterious project Kim is working on? Movie? Song? What could it be?

 Kim Kardashian Considering Adoption After Seeing Photo Of Orphan Babies?

Kim Kardashian is making a slight detour on her trip to South Africa this week. The reality star is on a quick trip too the country to promote Brutal Fruit cocktails, but she has made last minute arrangements to visit an orphanage, reports Life & Style.

Reportedly, a friend of Kim’s showed her a photo of orphan babies at the Shepherd’s Keep orphange and it has inspired her to consider adoption.

“She couldn’t believe that all these beautiful little babies were orphans. Kim was in shock — she just couldn’t believe that none of them had a mom or a dad to love them and tuck them into bed at night. That picture really changed her mind about adoption.”

After realizing this particular orphanage was too far to visit on her trip, Kim arranged to visit the Door of Hope center instead.
The friend says that this trip just might solidify Kim’s desire to adopt – and soon.

Kim has really come around to the idea that she could raise an orphan as her own child and surround it with the love and family that she grew up with. She’s not afraid to be a single mom anymore. She knows she has the money and the support network to raise a baby. Now she just has to find the child that she can be a mother to.”

What do you think? I’m a little skeptical about this “source”. Kim has made it clear she doesn’t have time to have a steady relationship, why would she suddenly have enough time to raise a baby? She’s so involved in SO many business projects. I’m calling B.S., I can’t help it.
